Wait...there were only three Dragon personalities in this set? Dang. I hope the promos are good. Every Clan got the following: 1. Their most represented contender. 2. Their Clan Council choice for the Throne. 3. A new non-unique. Then some clans got additional characters based on winning events, such as Hiruma Todori winning the Yojimbo event. |

i think it's a good card at present, nothing fantastic though. but with honor's veil coming up, this card may get some serious play time. by the way, are there other links which preview new dragon personalities(etc)? as i only know about the http://www.l5r.com/products/emerald-and-jade-champions/ previews. can someone post them here? |

I wonder if running this with Forest Killer Cavern is worth considering. Doomed Intentions and excessive combo-ness worries me a bit, but it seems like it has potential.

It is good support for themed decks using Magistrates, although story wise I can understand that the dragon wouldn't necessarily have a reason to have magistrates in the first place.

Is this where the Emerald Magistrates pull over to the side of the road and top off their PH fuel tanks? Seems that Jimen's got them running on fumes...
...and this also begs the question, how much does honor cost per gallon/litre? Another question this raises is will the burning of Personal Honor lead to a fundamental shift in the global honor budget as has happened with carbon dioxide in our own world?

Not bad card, if dishonor is starting to annoy you and you play Magistrates, then it could be an option.

No, no, you've got it all wrong, it's where all the magical samurai meet up to catch rides on anthropomorphic trains, narrated by Ringo Starr.  But I digress... If the ability were Open (or even better, Battle/Open), it would be more useful, since it would allow you to stop the dishonor bomb before it gets started. But it's a Limited, and while we do have decks that completely fold to dishonor, Magistrates isn't one of them. Me no likey. |
