If you can get the Imperial Favor easily and dishonor often, I don't see why he wouldn't be useful. Still, he seems like a coaster to me.

Favoring for free if the target is dishonored isn't too bad in my book. Especially with all the Magistrate dishonor tech out there. I think this guy's point is to have trait overload on Magistrates, so you can make everyone in a deck able to use the Magistrate actions.

i see what you are saying, nakama-san, but im playing a magistrate build right now and i have to say that i dont tend to find myself at a lack so i dont see him being played in my build as right now my non-magistrates are to important to cut three of them for one guy that requires me to have the favor

The only clan I don't make fun of is the Boar, because they are as miserable as they can be without going emo, and I respect that.

So, between Taiko and this guy....was Kitsuki Berii overpowered, or something? Did he go and dominate some tournaments I didn't hear about, thus prompting them to feel that we need less powerful replacements for him? He's great for a defensive Magistrate honor deck though. Let me know when you find one....

More magistrate love ( i´m still not sold about this one, but it´s good to have more magistrates for choosing ). I personally find one 1 gold more expensive than i´d like to see him, or 1F less. On the other hand, one Winter Court away ... congrats!

He'd be a solid card if he didn't require ditching the favor as the base cost (like I've said before, actions already have a basic cost of OPT), but still the "grab the favor if it targeted a dishonored guy". They seem to be overcosting actions this set, I might think more of him if every other clans personalities this set also have this problem (however unlikely). Send home is not as strong as bow or kill and is requiring higher and higher costs. Maybe if he was send home ~and~ bow. Ultimately, I agree with people saying he costs too much, but I will still probably use him in my magistrate deck, why you may ask? For some reason I like him. His ability fits the Taiko/Berii theme, he's a magistrate, I love his art and I think that while over cost, his ability is going in the right direction.

The favour use itself isn't once per turn though? Or did I just miss that change?

Both abilities of the Favor are now once-per-turn, along with every other ability (rulebook or card) that doesn't say otherwise.

As Kharon said, but actually taking, having the favour or discarding it is not OPT.

It's okay if you are packing alternate favor discards for against the high honor matchups (Lion and possibly Phoenix) but it's too much support for one card and you may not get a return on having sent someone home. Send home is not as strong as bow or kill and is requiring higher and higher costs. Maybe if he was send home ~and~ bow.
Since when was Send Home not as strong as Bow? I would much rather remove a big threat from the battle this turn (and reduce opponents presence) than leave the threat there bowed so my opponent can find some way to straighten or still play actions from presence. I don't think I am the only one who sees Send Home as stronger than Bow.

I see them as equal, although I found that the only thing that deals permanently with stuff is removing it from the game

Someone please enlighten me what is the difference between using his ability or simply using the Imperial Favor to send home honorable personality?

Did I do that?

If they are dishonoered you get the favor back; so, if you are playing an action later that require you to discard but not use the favor as part of the cost, you can. Also means you don't have to bow someone for the favor to get it back on your next turn.
