Three to four traits... one of them being tactician... six gold... Overcost...

Am I living in a different world here?

Overcost? If so, then I like overpaying. Smiley

Now someone give me a card that keys off of Mountaineers....

Here's one for you:

Choke!
Action
0GC
4FV
Battle/Open: One of your target Personalities issues a challenge to another player's target Personality. Dishonor the loser. If this duel was issued during battle send the loser home, bowed. If either Personality in the duel is a Mountaineer he immediately loses the duel.

Last I checked, #3 in the country and in the Orange Bowl WAS A BCS game. At least we have a coach, don't burn couches, and are favored to win our game Wink

he's 8 HR is why I consider him over cost, it's like they gave us a 3/3 for 8 who's only ability is that he has a trait that requires ditching a card for a cost (though worth it) if you have another card in play, too conditional imo outside of MFC. Scout's ok, but mountaineer means what again? I like guys I can use in every SH, the only incentive to run this guy is that with MCF, you always get the benefit of his ability. Maybe if he was tactician and gained higher force bonuses when you had a mountain/winter card in play or discard pile, in fact then hell yeah, but as it stands I doubt we'll use him outside of MCF.

Personally I think that this guy is nuts out of the new box.  I will probably be running a blitz-ish deck out of the Frost Castle and this guy fits in perfectly.  Note that we now will have 5 in-clan tacticians and 6 in-clan scouts available for use in a deck, which opens up a lot of doors for us that we typically have not had access to.  The results will be interesting, to say the least.

I am not the one to ask about this, because I have little experience with these sorts of decks.  The people blitzing with MST in early Samurai would be able to answer this better than I would.  So would Shinichi, who likes trying crazy things out of Dragon before they become supported by actual Dragon Clan cards.

I think this guy makes tactican dueling much easier now for Dragon, so I like him a lot. I might even scrub my MST deck and move over to the new frosty stronghold for dueling. Smiley

The new Crab temptation is a Scout Chain isn't it?  Or is there already a Scout chain?  Suchen confused  Huh.
