This does not bode well for the Scorpion, in my opinion. I've been a firm supporter of the Dragon/Scorpion Alliance since DE, and I don't want this to muck things up for them. WE MUST HELP OUR SCORPION BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND KILL THIS ABOMBINATION!!! WHO'S WITH ME?!?!

As I already made fairly clear earlier (what with the whole burning the card if I get one thing), I am.

Go go alliance!

I like killing scorpion regardless of the situation, so I guess I'll  raise my hand, too.

A battle ability that targets Gold Cost and is free of that accursed word "base"? Well now, he is going in a Mantis Magistrate deck. Naval Stolen Property, then Paneki's Disgrace uses his action to eat the guy with support from Eihiko if required. Lol non Scorpion players running this card might actually put 1 or 2 copies of Untaken in thier deck.

Yeah, right... And they just happened to "accidentally" slip a copy of this card in just one booster. I hear printing and packing errors tend to result in more general dissasters, like packing a whole set with one less uncommon card, or printing a whole set of dynasty cards with a fate card front.

I don't know what to think about this card...  Huh

I 've playing scorpion for a lot of time and paneki was the living history of the clan.... Angry Angry

Its a powerhouse obviously but i would like to call the brother scorpions not to use this abomination...
it's sure a disgrace to the clan and all who use it must be considered corrupted....
(remember the old days when what you were playing in your deck had storyline effects)

Tsimaru for Champion...(better Sunetra but i don't see this..... happening)

P.S I can second that with the Printing problems.... last night we opened 4 Booster boxes and they had no uncommons inside......they had rares in their spots.........1 box 196Rares.............. Grin Grin Grin

This is not the first time that promos have shown up mispacked.  And it wasn't the only packing error with promos this set.  It also wasn't a booster, which I note because it seems like the packing errors seem to come up more with the starter decks - perhaps because the starter decks have their own printing sheets.  For example, there were those Phoenix starter decks that were filled with full-bleed Stronghold promos.

Isn't Sunetra dead?  Was it her that Kitsuki Miyako (sp?  the honour gain trait magistrate from samurai?) warned Noritoshi about?

Wow, why didn't I get one of those.

Anyway, there's a slight chance that they're actually printing sets of promo cards right after the TPW sheets, and that the first sheet of promos got mixed up by accident with the lot of TPW sheets. A simple visual inspection would have prevented that mistake. Well, don't mind me and my cosnpiracy theories.

Excuse me everyone. Can I have your attention please? Everyone? Yes, over here. I have an announcement. If you'll just look right here, please.

*FLASH!*

Bayushi Paneki is not dead. There is no mispacked card. What you saw was a cleverly photoshopped fan art card, based off projections from a AEG story think tank. Paneki is at home, resting. There is no evidence whatsoever of any disgrace.

They are printing the promo sheets at the same time that they're printing the TPW sheets.  All promos are printed along with normal expansions.  To just do the limited promo print runs would be prohibitively expensive.  I don't know the mechanics at the printer or the sorter or whoever else is involved in this process, but I would tend to think that it is something like a sheet somehow ending up in the wrong stack.  Unfortunately, I doubt it's easy to visually inspect every sheet when you're printing thousands upon thousands of them.

Actually, that is precisely what a QC person's job is.  It's no fun to flip burgers, either, but your job is your job.
