All of your samurai have "kensai."
Limited: Bow one of your personalities with 4 or more chi to draw a card.

I don't know what we'd call it though

yeah, but his version seems better, as there are a lot of actions keying of kensai... I wish mirumoto sensei was still legal though or maybe a kata like it... so we don't run out of utility weapons to bow for our actions...

For Kensai, I'd rather have a Stronghold that creates weapons.  Even if it was a once a turn action that creates a small (+1/+0) weapon, it would be rather useful, as long as they also print a few more good Kensai / Weapon-based actions.

Well since shugis are part of the Clan but not a clan theme as Mirumoto Breaker pointed out, we'll take a stronghold about kensai.
I would preffer a better version of Great Falls Castle cause I never found the cards to play it in Samurai now I have them.
Though I think that a kensai SH should do something like Dragon's Guard City does and maybe +1 force to peeps with a weapon.
I think that this would give me the chance to take out I Carry two Blades and have an action that hurts the enemy since I will be able to take back my discarded weapon.
What do you think about this idea???

I bet that if we get a Kensai stronghold, it will be something along "Battle: bow a Kensai or a Weapon: bow/send home/duel/kill someone".

But of course i still believe on the chance of a Dragonish strnghold - a stronghold valid for many strategies/keywords, that affect generalities rather than specific keywords. And of course, a duelist stronghold. I think we might end having this.

We will have to wait Wink.

Shiro Mirumoto was the first Dragon stronghold that was actually *good,* (because Iron Mountain was perfectly adequate) and I had a nice few years playing it Smiley

I liked Iron Mountain.  I'm not saying it was good, but I liked it.  I would love to see a Dragon Stronghold with some flavorful trait that shut off Cavalry and Naval when you were being attacked.  They can put it on that Event-focused Stronghold I've been wanting, when they print it.  Maybe that's what's in Empire at War.  Wink

I honestly think that both our SH and the Scorpion SH will have support for our kensai. I honestly would like to see this new SH have the "all samurai have kensai" trait and a battle ability that does one of the things that Rinjin suggested. As for giving us a card that creates weapon tokens for us, one possible way for that to happen is giving us a holding that you pay a set amount of gold and bow it to create a weapon token. The token would obviously have to be worth paying for.

I'd prefer to have an Improved Great Falls Castle than a SH that gives all our guys Kensai, especially since all our non-kensai are Duelist, and I'd love to see Brisk Economy back

seriously guys, what's the point in giving all of your samurai kensai...  Shocked Grin, actually only kei and maybe ichizo would get something from that. apart of this kensai is actually kinda luckluster ATM as there are not enough swords to put on them... what's the point in having kensai keyword if you don't have 2 swords...? playing actions? oh wow hundred fold is good but AGAIN it requires weapon to work... most of kensai action require weapons. i think the only thing we miss is something (stronghold or holding) that produces weapon tokens +2/+1 to make it work. if we get this the machine will start to work. before that i'm already too tired of trying and i focused myself on other builds as there are some...

Equipping Weapons is a Battle/Open Action for you.

Your Kensai need not pay the cost of bowing a Weapon, even if they do not have a Weapon attached to them.

IMO.

Guys, perhaps we shouldn't be suggesting such specific ideas.

If someone makes up text for a card and posts it on a public site, AEG will never print it.  It's their policy, due to potential legal issues.
